BridTEC under its former name of Grahamsoft was established in 1997 by BSc Computing student David Graham. David has always had a strong passion for technology and decided to put his talent to good use and set up the brand of BridTEC.
the history
The web presence of Grahamsoft was formed in 1997 after a user name was required for a BT Internet ISP account. The original address was btinternet.com/~grahamsoft which had a maximum web hosting space of 20mb. The site was mainly used by David as a teaching aid to learn html using the Netscape web page compositor. Grahamsoft.co.uk was acquired in 2002 which was and still is hosted from a server in a garage in Bridport. David focused on after school computer repairs and web development for family, friends and local sports clubs. After studying Software Engineering at both College and University David is now a professional Software Engineer and MBCS member of the British Computer Society. The formation of the BridTEC brand in 2005 made it clear that our interests are in technology in general and not just software. Grahamsoft labs still exists and it is an area where in-house software ideas can be trailed. BridTEC now focuses on more broader technology services with David still at the helm.
